Why is this even allowed to be here, epecially under what's “green”? This is literally nothing but a commercial for Monsanto.  I thought this sight was supposed to be for and about people who are trying to live a more conscious, just, sustainable and loving way on this planet.

Monsanto engineers plants for heavier pesticide use, thus more heavily contaminating our air, water, and soil. Their genetically engineered plants are contaminating the larger food supply,  and, they are keeping  poor farmers in bondage by forcing them to buy seed from them every year by engineering the crops not to reproduce so seed must be purchased instead of being saved from the previous year's crop.

Get this out of here and let Monsanto advertise on its own web site.

this was not intended to be an advertisement for Monsanto.

i take responsibility for posting this video to add more perspectives on the issue of biotechnology. you might be interested to know that Norman Borlaug, one of the speakers in the video, was just recently awared the highest civilian award (Congressional Gold Medal) for his work on biotechnology which fed about a billion people. and he is also a Nobel Peace Prize winner dubbed as a central figure in the Green Revolution. personally, i think that qualifies as “GREEN.” :)

but i don't intend this to turn into a debate. feel free to take this information for what it is and use it to enrich your perspectives on this matter.

thanks!
