wow, amazing feedback loops.

I can almost see how it is all self correcting, despite many of the doomsday predictions.

I am very fascinated by the dialectical process between the gross and subtle planes of our existence. The material and immaterial (mental and spiritual).  back and forth like a wonderful conversation.

The most fascinating thing presently, to me, is the data processing.  The internalization and integration of the information explosion, especially given the natural biological predispositions being transplanted.

I think it stands to reason, that one of our great tasks is to find the most natural method toward the fascilitation of the integration of the information glut.  To assemble and synthesize.

I think it also stands to reason, that once this synthesis gets underway, for each person on his and her own, that a new age mind will be the very natural result.  a more accurate microcosmic representation of the cosmos.  more fluidly in concert with the great chain of being.

Given this 'new age mind', the most powerful source will then become more readily available as a new and CLEAN resource for our beautiful planet.  harnessing the cooperative efforts of the collective and evolving whole.

Fascilitation of the development of the most advanced and broad techniques of simple information processing, or digestion, woud be the next logical step (especially given the power of the cognitive line).  Accepting the previous premises, of course.

My curiousity also extends toward the alternatives to Wilber's vision.  Integrality is another term for synthesis, in my mind at least, or with slight tweaking.  Synthesis is a digestive act.  A verb.  So is 'integration'.  So is processing.  Are we truly working the cognitive tract, fully exercising our meta cognitive capacities in the mental work of synthetic internalization?

I love how Wilber has empirically brought together much of the world's pertinent information under one umbrella.  the beginning synthesis is beautiful and so VERY instructive.  Are we actually teaching others how to synthesize, or is it being done by a small group?

or…is this the best route?  I don't know.  Just have a gnawing feeling we ARE missing some very integral things.  And perhaps it is merely a matter of emphasis within that structure.  Or…I may just be exploring my own ignorance in what has already been thought through long ago.

anyhow, this was fun exercise before bed…

exactly! i keep getting goosebumps while watching this video. and to think that it was made in 1983, before the internet boom! its predictions are on track. that the mind is the next frontier in evolution. the advent of the internet, web, social networks, sharing of mind-space in virtual reality, and the rise of conscious businesses are testaments to the vision in this video. very fluffy :)

Yes, very interesting and indeed precisely so taken the year it was made. I am also fascinated by the correlation between what happens on a personal as well as collective
human consciousness level and what happens with our planet (and it probably doesn't stop there, the universe is a vast space).
But when I take it back to a personal human level probably most of us involved in a conscious intent of participating in these changes can recognize the reflections of that in their own lives. Times when we had ideas and visions, times of letting these things sink in, may be we even forgat about it a little bit and then times of shining light on the shadows and healing and then finding that you have changed and things have integrated. I feel this is an ongoing proces that is always happening, even if it's not conscious yet, but that indeed at times of great paradigm shifts  accelarates.
Back around round the same time I heard Rabbi Zalman Schachter say in one of his extraordinary talks, “sometimes the good alone will not motivate us enough, we need a  swift kick in the behind, “that's God's way of saying -get on with it- “. Well, I  hope  (and trust)  that the conscious intent of many people who want  to become the change we want to see happen will through this expansion of consciousness be the light that others light their candles with .So we will grow into an awareness of love that is serving life of which the natural outcome will be preventing  diseases on all these levels and enhancing peace instead of waking up  “five to twelve” .

Just experienced this video as part of my morning read/research. Will share with my lists and continue the mental evolution… especially appreciated the fleas on elephant analogy and the Chinese representation of  crisis/opportunity. Will now Google Peter Russell. Enjoy the Magic…
